NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is all set to launch its next generation flagship smartphone — OnePlus 6. With the launch date coming closer, the internet is flooded with images and leaks of the yet-to- be launched smartphone. Now, another image of the smartphone is spotted online, which offers a closer look of the smartphone.

The image shared is not a leak and it comes from the official sources. OnePlus has tweeted the image of the OnePlus on its official Twitter handle. The tweet consists of the image of the rear panel of OnePlus 6 along with the tagline ‘More immersion in a refined form factor. Are you ready for the #OnePlus6?The image shows the dual rear camera setup at the rear panel along with the circular fingerprint sensor and OnePlus branding. The camera are placed in vertical setting just like the OnePlus 5T. The left side shows the volume rockers and the traditional slider button. There are antenna lines running on the top and bottom and the device looks quite sleek and seems to have smooth finish
The company has already confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will come with a screen notch just like the one found in iPhone X. However, it also added that there will be an option for the users to hide the screen notch if they want.The OnePlus 6 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The manufacturer has also confirmed that for the first time they will be launching the 256GB variant of the smartphone.As per the rumors, the smartphone is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and is also expected to receive Android P update by the end of this year. The OnePlus 6 is said to come with a 16MP and 20MP rear cameras and a 16MP front shooter for selfies.Another leak revealed that the company is planning to launch the smartphone on May 6 at an event in China. It is also said to cost 50% more expensive as compared to its predecessor OnePlus 5T.
